To pay via Paypal, click onto the page of the course(s) you’d like to learn and choose the Paypal Payment option. You do not need to have a Paypal account in order to pay using this method.

Accredited Face-to-face Courses

When booking an Accredited in-person course with us, full payment is required upon booking. Due to the instant access to the theory section, this payment is non-refundable. Once payment has been made, we will also require a completed online booking form. Once both of these have been received, you will be sent welcome emails within 48 hours, which will include your theory manual and links to tutorial videos. You should ensure that you familiarise yourself with these techniques and your tutor will be on-hand to answer any questions you may have. You’re welcome to book your 1-2-1 training date immediately, with the date being as soon as 2 weeks after the we receive your booking (allowing you ample time to complete the theory training before moving onto the practical training.

In the event that you need to cancel your in-person training, no refund will be given, but you will be given the option to reschedule for a mutually-convenient date. If cancellation is made by the student within 24 hours of your arranged training date, an additional £50 fee will be added for your new training date. This clause will be waived during the Covid-19 Pandemic, and if re-booking for Covid reasons, no fee will be payable.

In the unlikely event that KCPB Essex Training Academy needs to cancel or rearrange your training date, you will be offered a full refund, if you choose not to re-schedule.

In the unlikely event that KCPB Essex Training Academy needs to reschedule a training date that has already been rescheduled at your request, you will be offered our next available date (and those thereafter, until a mutually-convenient date is agreed). No refund will be offered.


Hobby/Taster Courses

A deposit will be required for all hobby/taster courses which is non-refundable. The remaining balance is then due on the day of the course, in person. If you wish to cancel:

  1. more than one week prior to your course date, you will be given the option to re-schedule with no additional deposit required, once;
  2.  within one week of the course date, if you wish to re-schedule, another deposit payment will be required in order to secure your re-scheduled date. If you cancel twice within 1 week of the courses and wish to re-schedule for a third time, the deposit payable will be the amount for the course, in full;
  3. within 24 hours of the course date, the full amount is payable.

In the unlikely event that KCPB Essex Training Academy need to cancel, you will be given the option to cancel, with a full refund or to reschedule.


Online Courses

When booking an Accredited online course with us, full payment is required upon booking. This payment is non-refundable. Once payment has been made, we will also require a completed online booking form. Once both of these have been received, you will be sent welcome emails within 48 hours, which will include your theory manual and links to tutorial videos. You should ensure that you familiarise yourself with these techniques and your tutor will be on-hand to answer any questions you may have. Once you have practised a few times and feel quite confident in your technique, we will arrange an online live Skype/FaceTime/Zoom Tutorial/Assessment, where we can go through your technique and your tutor can help you to improve further (if you have chosen this upgrade option).

Once the live lesson has been booked, we ask that you commit to this time and date. If you need to cancel your live training, our payment is non-refundable, but you will be given the opportunity to reschedule your live training. If you need to reschedule on more than one occasion, there will be a fixed fee payable of £20. In the unlikely event that KC Plaits & Beauty Essex Training Academy need to cancel your live training, you will be offered a new mutually-convenient date and time.


Covid Changes to Terms

In the event that you need to cancel your training date due to having to isolate due to Covid-19, you will not be offered a refund, but instead offered to reschedule your training date. We will waive the fees for rescheduling. This means that you can reschedule for free, as opposed to our usual £50 rescheduling fee. We may ask to see proof of your legal duty to isolate.

In the event that KC Plaits & Beauty needs to reschedule your training date due to Covid-19, you will be offered the same date, taught virtually (providing Kylie is well enough). You will also be offered a mutually-convenient, rescheduled date. No refund will be offered if the cancellation is due to Covid-19. We will provide proof of our legal duty to isolate, should you wish to see it.
