This course is available to everyone, with no previous qualifications necessary. During this course, you will learn how to complete a manicure treatment, the physiology and anatomy, as well as all theory knowledge and practical skill required to become fully-accredited within manicures. The manicure offers the therapist or technician a whole range of options to suit nearly every client. It is an ABT-Accredited course and qualifies for ABT membership and insurance, as well as insurance from any other main insurance provider. It includes the following amazing assurances:

This qualification is Nationally-recognised and accredited by The Association of Beauty Therapists (ABT). It is fully-insurable through ABT and all main insurers for public liability, meaning that upon completion, you will be qualified to offer professional manicures in your own business.

Brief Outline of the Course

* Theory Learning – including anatomy and physiology of the skin and nails, treatment procedure, health and safety acts, data protection laws, hygiene, code of conduct etc. This will all be completed online, from the comfort of your own home.

* Practical Learning – This course covers the consultation session, checking for any contra-indications, performing of the manicure treatment, including cleansing, cutting, filing, shaping, exfoliating, deep nourishing treatment (hand mitt/paraffin wax), massage, moisturise, polish to finish in both French-style and dark polish.

* Case Studies – Further Case-studies are to be completed from home until the you are working to a professional level. This will be approximately 3 case-studies.
